  6. Ever want to hook two computers together thru the modem ports,
  7. but didn't want to use those slow modems to make things work?
  8. Here is the answer....If you have the appropriate modem cables
  9. from each of the two computers.  You can connect what's called
  10. a NULL MODEM between the two systems using your standard cables.
  11.  
  12. I realize that this is nothing new to many of those computerists
  13. who have been 'hacking' away ever since the Intel 8008 and S-100.
  14. For those of you who are interested, here is a diagram for a
  15. Universal Null Modem.  It can consist of two DB-25S connectors
  16. tied together using short jumper wires and spacers between the
  17. mounting holes, or a cable as long as you need it to reach be-
  18. tween the two computer modem cables.

  42. the opposite pins (5,6,& 8).
